Do you know the power of Radishes?

I didn’t until about a month ago.
I came down with a gnarly sore throat and got to flexing my fingers to search for foods to help with my ailment…

Up popped articles about Radishes.  I thought, “Radishes? Really?”
And so began my road to a SUPER speedy recovery!

Your Body Is Trying To Tell You Something

I should mention that I had literally purchased some radishes a few days before I came down with my sore throat.

Two things to note:

I rarely get sick and I’d never bought radishes prior to this purchase.

Why am I saying this?

To remind you that your body is a SUPER computer, ready to heal itself when given half the chance.  Your body is your best doctor, if you’ll just listen to what it is telling you.

What You Crave Is What You Need

We often hear the word “craving” and think BAD.  But I’m here to tell you that cravings are not good, nor bad; they are merely signals to tell you that you are lacking something and your body needs it.

Example:  You’ve just worked out.  All of a sudden, you want chips.  It’s not the chips (or potatoes, rather) that you crave… usually, it is the salt, because of the loss of salt through your sweat.

I am a highly intuitive Being and have learned to listen to my body with extreme clarity.  My “random” craving to buy Radishes were merely a signal and preventative measure given to me by my body.  I think to myself, if I’d not trusted myself, my sore throat would have taken me down far longer than just 24 hours.

Yup, only 24 hours, thanks to the 3 R’s: Radishes, Rest and Relaxation! 😉

How To Cure A Sore Throat

Now you know just one of the reasons to eat your Radishes.  Sore Throats are handled with ease with Radishes (and they also help to clear out your sinuses).

No fun! I mean, who likes to get unwanted bubblegum stuck to their shoes, hair, ( insert random place)?
On the bright side, at least you have the shoes, hair, (random place) to get the gum stuck to you in the first place…

Gratitude puts things in perspective

You’ve stepped in the gum.  You could hem and haw over it, or you could GIVE GRATITUDE.  Perhaps if you didn’t step in the gum, you’d have been too early to meeting your Twin Flame, or late for the last bus out of town.

Everything happens for a reason, and when you can have perspective through giving gratitude, you’ll fend off “bad” circumstances and continually attract more goodness.

It’s true: having an attitude of gratitude is the way to a happy (and unstuck) life.

How To Write a Letter of Gratitude

When you read that statement, what came up for you?

I was sitting here, browsing through Twitter to see what “Gratitude” tweets were happening, and I stumbled upon a great page whose headline was the quote I started this paragraph with.

It resonated with me because as an Intuitive Health Coach, it is not just my responsibility to inspire through the words I say, but also through the way of interact in life…

I don’t just post about gratitude on Gratitude Thursday, I LIVE and breathe my gratitude the moment I wake until I fall to sleep, EVERY DAY:

You can only give what you are able to receive, and vice-versa.  Gratitude is a two-way street, and it starts with you.  The more you are grateful for your breath, the more you will receive that which you are grateful for, such as things that allow you to breathe and feel light.

The best way to tap into your gratitude is to write a letter of gratitude.  Click here for the steps.  Notice how the process of the letter writing starts first with writing a letter of gratitude to your Self?

Your FREE Life-REmixing Tip: The letter of gratitude is a great exercise and I encourage you to take time to do it.  And there’s a simpler exercise that I use every week to check-in with my Attitude of Gratitude.  Here are the steps:

  1. Get a pencil/pen,
  2. Get a piece of paper,
  3. Head the page: Gratitude [ Date ] (Example: Gratitude 10/2/14)
  4. Write down all the things you are grateful for in that moment. (Example: I am so happy and grateful for my life!)
  5. Repeat steps 1-4 on the same day every week and watch the magic of life unfold in your favor!

You can use a laptop or technology device of your choice, but there is a scientific POWER to writing. Try it in writing first. Get a journal if possible.
